Beauty Tips - Eyelashes

Eyelashes grow at the edge of the eyelid & they protect the eye from debris or dust.
Long eyelashes are considered a sign of beauty & many women seek to enhance their eyelashes artificially, using eyelash extensions or fake eyelashes.

Fake eyelashes are added above natural lashes. A pair of lashes when chosen can also be trimmed according to preference. Eye lash glue is used on tip of lash and using tweezers they are picked up and placed above natural lashes. If done carefully & with practice they look natural. In case there is some space left between natural and artificial ones then it can be covered by using eyeliner. When using fake eyelashes it should be made sure to remove them before going to bed as in sleep they can damage the natural eyelashes. Removing these lashes is also simple & can be done by using makeup remover or olive oil with a cotton swab & then carefully separated from the eyelid using tweezers.

It is also possible to get eyelash transplants, which are similar in nature to hair transplant. In this case the hair from the scalp is used for the transplant & the new eyelashes will continue to grow like the scalp hair ( thought it will need to be trimmed regularly )
